A matcha pop up that has Filipino flavors? That’s what you’re getting with Inom Matcha! 

Established in May of 2026, Inom is owned and operated by Gina and Matt.

Hi, I’m Gina! A Filipino-American who was born right here in Portland, OR. I’ve been living here pretty much my whole life. I love the vibe and community of farmer’s markets and pop ups and have been so lucky and blessed to meet a ton of local people and businesses who have been so welcoming to us! If you’ve seen us around, you’ve probably met me and my fiance, Matt. He’s been my main supporter and always helps me at the market. We’re always happy to meet people, so please come say hi!

A little unconventional, but in 2023, I started my health journey and basically needed a good caffeine source to stay awake and energized. After going through preworkout, energy drinks, and trying to drink coffee, I somehow got into matcha, and I LOVED it, so much that it became my daily drink. This turned into trying different flavor combinations and syrups, which comes into play today, as most of Inom’s syrups and purees are homemade. 

I remember my matcha first love was Naoki’s superior blend matcha. I think it was the first matcha I tried, and I was lucky that it was a good one. My first combo was strawberry nesquik, milk, and this matcha.

I will admit that I’m not someone who drinks matcha for the grassy flavor, but I love the way it tastes in a latte. I love experimenting with different flavors and being able to add in something from my own culture has been so fun! One of our signature flavors is our turon, available as a matcha or hojicha. It incorporates the caramelized coating of the lumpia wrapper and the banana flavor into one. It’s one of my faves!

As of now, we’re at our weekly farmer’s market at Happy Valley every Saturday from 9-2pm. We’re also open for catering and private events!
